Keziah Anne was born at 10:38 pm on Wednesday October 29th. She is 7 lbs 10 oz and has a great set of lungs! This is what she did for the first 3 hours or so of her life! We have another daddy's girl! Wide awake at 1 day old. They are so sweet when they are sleeping!

My last photo of me pregnant with this baby! No wonder I am so uncomfortable. My belly is HUGE! At least the rest of me didn't grow as much this time. God willing, my next post will be a birth announcement and pictures of our new little one. Please keep me and the baby in your prayers on Tuesday night and Wednesday.

It is time to get all those last minute things done in preparation for this baby. I have a list a mile long on the refrigerator and we only crossed 3 things off of it today! I have put chocolate chip cookies, apple cinnamon muffins, and oatmeal raisin cookies into the freezer for Thad and I put 1 dinner in there for us so far. Today I got the baby's closet all organized and Thad vacuumed and swept and mopped and we got all dishes caught up. Tomorrow I hope to tackle the other two closets and get our room organized. Of course in the midst of all of this, I had to make one last attempt to go into labor on my own before Tuesdays induction. So I took a nasty shot of Castor Oil. I tried to take it straight, and instantly threw it back up. So I tried again taking it mixed into a smoothie. I was able to get that down. It made me sick for a few hours, and then by about 2:00 I started having contractions. They have been 4 to 5 min apart most of the day, but not strong enough to go...

I had a dr apt this afternoon, and basically this baby is pretty comfortable and determined to stay in as long as we let him or her. I blogged a while ago about the hospital bill being covered if this baby is born by the end of October. So, instead of scheduling a check up for next week, My dr scheduled my induction! If the baby hasn't been born by then, I am suppose to check into the hospital at 6 pm next Tuesday evening. They will do either Cervidil or Cytotec over night, and then start pitocin in the morning, making this babys birthday October 29. I guess for the next week I am just going to rest and clean and make sure everything is ready for the new little one. No more crazy, unsuccessful attempts to make myself go into labor. I'll just wait it out. Please be praying for a fast and easy induction for me and the baby this next week!

Most of my posts in the last month or so have had no pictures in them, so I thought it was time to post some recent pictures of the kids. I know anyone who doesn't see us regularly and reads my blog appreciates the pictures. So here they are. Raquelle has figured out what a camera is now and loves to pose for it. Titus is much more of a little boy now then a baby or toddler. That is marker on his face, not a bruise. Raquelle has become obsessed with shoes. Her current favorite is this pair of rain boots that is 2 sizes too big for her! Maybe by next year they will actually fit! Last night, when Thad went in to check on the sleeping children, he had to carefully pry them out of her arms without waking her up before he could put her blankets back on her. Why can't my child be obsessed with a teddy bear or baby doll instead? Titus and Raquelle during "school" time. Raquelle knows all of her letters and sounds, and Titus knows a few of them now too.

We just found out the other day that Thad is NOT going to get the time off he wanted when the baby is born. He was planning on taking a week off while I recover. Because of this, I told Laurens mom that I would only need time off while in the hospital because Thad would be there to help with the kids. Well, apparently when Thad first started working back at locating (the week Raquelle was born) he took a couple days off. He had not been there long enough to qualify for paid time off so he did not request for that time to be paid. But, I guess they paid him those days off anyway. Now, 2 and a half years later, they decided to subtract those days from this years vacation time leaving him with only 2 days off for the birth of this baby! Unfortunately, after unexpected medical and dental bills that insurance didn't cover and a car that needs repaired, we don't have the funds for him to take additional unpaid time off. 13 days until this child will be evicted, unless I can get my body to go into labor on its own before then! Wish me luck! I really hope to have the baby on my own before then because I really did not enjoy the pitocin last time. There is a light at the end of the tunnel! Yeah!
