To flip a breach or transverse baby: Prop a solid plank such as an ironing board up on a chair or the couch. Stack pillows around it in case you fall off. Lay on the board upside down for 20 min at a time 3 times a day. Repeat daily until baby is head down in order to avoid a C-Section. Yah, So this is about as comfortable as it looks! As if the baby's head wasn't putting enough pressure on my ribs already! The idea is to get him higher up in my abdomin so that he has enough space to turn around before he settles back down onto (or preferable into) my pelvis. In case any of you ever try this, I recomend getting up slowly. Being upside down for 20 min all the blood rushes to your head and when you stand up, everything goes black!
