I took Keziah to a new dr for her 2 month check up. I really like her. She is giving us Diflucan for the thrush (her other dr said no to that), which means hopefully we will be over that in a week or two. Yeah! Anyway, here are her stats. 2 months Height - 23" - 55% (So she is finally back up to her birth length!) Weight - 12 lbs 1 oz - 65% So, she is bigger then Raquelle was, but smaller then Titus...just like I predicted. Oh, and last night, she slept through the night for the first time!

I can't believe Keziah is already 2 months old! Where has the time gone? She is a very smiley, happy baby most of the time, but we are still waiting for that first laugh. She is starting to notice her toys! That means she is entertained for longer stretches on her play mats. I would post what her height and weight, but her check up isn't until tomorrow. I guess that gives me something to blog about tomorrow. My guess is that she is bigger then Raquelle and smaller then Titus at this age. I'm thinking maybe 12.5 lbs? She is quite chunky! She has major fat rolls on her thighs and cute little chipmonk cheeks. She is alreay wearing (and outgrowing some) 3 to 6 month clothes! Anyway...enough chat, here are some pictures I took tonight.

Don't come back another day!!! I'm sure everyone else in Salem is thrilled about the foot or so of snow we now have, but I'm ready for it to be gone. As much as I love the snow, I'm tired of being stuck home because we need chains to get out of the driveway, and I'd really like Thad to be able to go to work! Maybe I would enjoy the snow a little more if it wasn't making Thad have to miss work when he is out of paid time off. Since he has an outdoor job, when it snows like this, there is hardly any work. He missed two days last week, and there was no work for him today. Things aren't looking promising for tomorrow either. On Friday, he was one of only two people who got to work for 5+ counties! Aside from the snow having a negative effect on our income, things are now up in the air as to what is happening for Christmas. Thad ended up staying home from work today. Due to the weather most of his co-workers didn't work either. So we enjoyed a nice snow day today. We took the dog for a walk on the ice. Titus likes just walking in the snow. I have not seen him try to touch it yet, he just likes to walk on it. Raquelle was much happier today since we found her mittens. She kept picking up the snow and eating it. Thad kept reminding her that "we only eat white snow, we don't eat the yellow snow!" After playing in the snow, Kezzy was wiped out and decided it was a good time for a nap. I LOVE our fireplace! It has been such a great source of heat for us and also a great source of entertainment. We didn't stock up on marshmallows, so we had to find another use for the fire today. Thad cooked dinner tonight and the kids absolutely loved it! They both had seconds. In case you can't see it in the picture, he has a hot dog (actually a polish dog) on a coat hanger in the fire.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! So, after about 10 or 15 min of putting 2 pairs of socks on the kids, leggings, pants, sweatshirts, coats, hats, and finding shoes that would go over an extra pair of socks, we finally headed outside to play. Playing didn't last very long. As soon as Raquelle touched the snow, she started crying that her hands were cold. So, all that bundling up for about 2 min of "playing" in the snow. We are going to find her some gloves and try again tomorrow afternoon. The weather report says that we can expect 4 inches by morning (though I think we may already have that much). It is suppose to stay cold and not melt all week and we are suppose to get more snow on Wed, Thu, and Friday. Then it will warm up to about 40 for the weekend and snow M...

I just realized it has been a couple weeks since I have posted anything. I can't believe Keziah will be 6 weeks old tomorrow already! Time sure is going by fast! Here are some pictures for everyone who we haven't seen recently. Our new favorite family activity in the evenings. The kids can't wait for daddy to get home from work so we can cook "white candies" in the fire! Raquelle playing with her favorite new toy and her favorite doll...I mean sister. I tried and tried to get a picture of Keziah smiling, but our camera has a delay from when you push the button to when it clicks, so all I got was the left over smile in her eyes. And for all the people back in Montana who hold puppet team so dear, Titus says "MOOO!"
