Very sick baby

And I thought a little cold was bad! It all started Friday afternoon. At about 4:00 Raquelle started screaming. Nothing would calm her down. This is very unlike her. She rarely cries, and when she does, it's more like a little fuss. We knew of a new tooth, so we gave her childrens motrin and teething tablets. That didn't help. We ended up being up all night with a screaming baby. She did not sleep longer then a 1.5 hour stretch the entire night. First thing in the morning we called the dr and made an appointment. One ear was red and the other one was "goopy" but she had no fever. Dr said to keep her on motrin and see if it goes away on it's own and gave us a prescription in case she got worse and developed a fever. Saturday night was similor, but a little better. She was up every hour until just after midnight, and then slept til morning. Sunday morning, she was happy and playing. Of course, we kept her on the motrin still. We went to church and then out to lunch with my sisters. Half way through lunch, she started crying and started to feel warm. As we were leaving we gave her another dose of motrin, went home and she went down for a nap. By early evening, she was still playing but a little fussy. I picked her up and noticed that she felt really hot. Checked her temp and it was 101.3. So I sent Thad to get her prescription, but of course, the pharmacy was closed. So, we packed up and went up to Salem. (I didn't want to be home alone if the storm nocked out the electricity). After stopping a couple different places, we found a pharmacy that was open. By this point, Raquelle had become completely lathargic. She was just laying there in Thads arms staring off into space. She felt very hot, her face was red, eyes were goopy, nose was green, and she was refusing to eat or drink anything. We could put a bottle in her mouth but she wouldn't suck on it.

We got her prescription and since she was getting so bad so fast, we decided to give her the first dose before leaving the store. We got it into her and a min later, she threw up everywhere. She covered a 2 foot by 4 foot squar of the floor with it. I swear more came out of her then had gone in in the entire day! She was so lathargic that she didn't even cry with this. So, we took her into the bathroom (both of us) to clean up her and Thad and noticed that not only was her face red, but her entire body was now red and blotchy. We went back to the pharmacist and he told us to take her to the hospital. We called the dr on the way out, and the dr recomended going home and giving her a luke warm bath for the fever to see if that will bring it down enough to get some meds into her. We got home, and her fever was 102.8. And now, she is sitting in a luke warm bath with her daddy (who is in his swim suit) trying to get her to become responsive again. If she gets worse over night, we will go to the hospital, and if she is still lathargic like this in the morning, we will go to the dr. We are hoping for some improvement by morning (along with hopefully a couple hours of sleep tonight).
