Getting back to blogging.
Well, long time no see! I have been out of the blogging world for a while, but I was considering starting it back up...mostly of a way of journaling both what my kids do and say, and also my own thoughts and growth. A lot has happened since my last post on here over the summer! My brother got married, we went to Sea World and the Zoo while we were in San Diego for the wedding, Thad lost his job, we changed churches, and of course, Keziah has changed a ton.
Updates on the kids...
Raquelle will be 4 next month! It is amazing how time goes by so quickly. I believe she may be ready to start kindergarten, but of course, she isn't old enough yet. She can count, knows her numbers, shapes, letters, sounds, and tons more. She can write her name and is starting to sound out and read and write simple words.
Titus is perpetually potty training. He has been in underware for almost a year now, but still has accidents several days a week. This mostly occurs when he is interested in something, such as the TV, preschool time, or during a meal. He has been participating in preschool time for a year now just in coloring shapes and numbers and matching work sheets. I just bought him some of his first preschool books for him to start tracing and writing his letters.
Keziah is now 15 months old. She did everything late. She did not crawl until 11 months old, and then walked at 14 months old. But now she can climb up and down off of furniture and play structures, walk, run, color, and talk. She has over 30 words including several 2 word phrases.
We are still waiting for all of the kids to sleep through the night. Usually 2 or 3 nights a week we will get to sleep, but the rest of the time, 1 or all of the kids are up. Titus wants his blanket that he dropped, Keziah wants a bottle, Raquelle had a bad dream, etc...
I think that is it for updates. I hope that I will remember to keep my blogging up a little better this year then I did last year.
