To flip a baby

To flip a breach or transverse baby: Prop a solid plank such as an ironing board up on a chair or the couch. Stack pillows around it in case you fall off. Lay on the board upside down for 20 min at a time 3 times a day. Repeat daily until baby is head down in order to avoid a C-Section.

Yah, So this is about as comfortable as it looks! As if the baby's head wasn't putting enough pressure on my ribs already! The idea is to get him higher up in my abdomin so that he has enough space to turn around before he settles back down onto (or preferable into) my pelvis. In case any of you ever try this, I recomend getting up slowly. Being upside down for 20 min all the blood rushes to your head and when you stand up, everything goes black! Anyway, for your amusement, here is a pic of what I got to do this afternoon. The goal is to hopefully have him head down by my next check up at the end of February.

And just for fun and becuase she is so cute, here is another picture of Raquelle in pig tails.

Oh my goodness that's the funniest thing I've ever heard of. You're so funny! Well I'm getting anxious - hurry up little boy we want to meet you! : ) Hey - are you having a baby shower for him? When is it? Are you registered anywhere???

Not registered since all we really need is clothes, diapers, and wipes. I don't know if I get a baby shower since he's a 2nd baby. Or at least I don't know of anyone planning one yet.
