Little sicky

Raquelle is sick. Poor baby. Thad came down with a cold on Saturday. I woke up with it on Monday, and Raquelle first realized she had it at 3 AM. Of course, we are out of Tylenol, and we are out of cold medicine so she has been just miserable. She went to the dr for her 6 month check up this afternoon so at least we know her sore throat isn't strep, and her lungs are fine and no ear infection. Just a nasty cold. She can't sleep in her crib. If she is on her back, she is coughing and choking and practically drowning in her snot. If she is on her tummy, she ends up laying in a puddle of snot and that doesn't make her happy either. Basically, so far today, She is only happy being held, or in her swing with her blankey.

So, my daughter is tall like me and skinny like her daddy. She is moving into 12 month size based on her height, but is so skinny that the 6-9 , month pants still fall off of her. We are investing in overalls and 1 piece outfits for her now. Posted by Picasa

It must be cold season! Isn't it miserable when your baby is sick and you can't make it all better? Elisha has been alternating between sleeping in the swing and his elevated crib.

Sorry all of you are sick. She looks kind of comfy there, well, she looks like she could use a pillow. I hope you get better soon. mom

Poor Raquelle! Asher is sick with a cold too! He has been sleeping in his carrier. He is a little better after a day of mostly sleeping (we actually had to wake him up to feed him--not at all usual for him, and he didn't have much energy at all). He still needs extra sleep and he's still goopy and coughing (and sneezing), but he is better. I hope Raquelle gets better soon!

This last weekend

Hey guys. Just got home. Here's what happened over the last couple days... My mom came to help clean. I couldn't just sit and watch so I did some cleaning and organizing yesterday too. I was having regular ctx all day, but they weren't really painful. Went to bed about 11 pm (Saturday night) and they were annoying enough to keep me from sleeping well, but not enough to go in. Raquelle woke up just before 1 AM and since Thad was taking care of her I got up to use the bathroom. When I got back in bed, I had a really strong painful ctx. Thad came back in while I was breathing through it and asked if we were going to the hospital. I told him yes I think so, but lets wait for some more and see how far apart they are. They were 7 min apart so we got up and got dressed, ate a snack, etc. They got to 5 min apart, and then I had a couple back to back ones so we left for the hospital just after 2.
