Enchanted Forrest

I mentioned a few posts ago that we are trying to have at least one family day a month where we go and do something special as a family. When I went to the moms group at Krista's church, I won free admission to Enchanted Forrest! Kids under 3 are free, and Thad didn't have to work today, so off we went! We had tons of fun. After making it through Story book lane, we decided to run the stroller back to the car. The kids weren't really using it much anyway. Raquelle was old enough (and tall enough) to go on the rides. We didn't want to go broke on rides, so she only got to go on 2. I'm not sure if the rides or the big slide was her favorite. She had a blast though. She had almost as much fun as Thad!

Outside the crooked man's house
Hallway in the crooked man's houseRaquelle on the mini ferris wheel. She was a little nervous at first, but once it started going, she was smiling and saying "WEEE!" the whole time.
Raquelle and I riding the train. There was a button you could push to make music and animal sounds as it went around on it's track. The guy in the background is actually the original owner and creator of Enchanted Forrest. He still works there and his family runs the park.
Thad and Raquelle going into the Ginger bread house from Hansel and Grettle. Raquelle thought the gum drops lining the walkway were flowers and kept trying to kick them.
Titus exiting the Indian caves. I still can't believe my pregnant self crawled through these tunnels!
Goldilocks and the 3 bears
Titus and I on the slide coming out of the old woman's shoe
Abe Lincoln and our little confederate soldier! Raquelle was really fascinated with this gun that was bigger than her! She gets that from her daddy (and grandpa).

Those were the top pictures. Sometime today, I will have all the rest of the pictures up on my myspace page.
