Hospital visit and other stories
I have several things to write about today. First, Raquelle is still very sick and getting worse. She started coughing last Friday. Monday, she wasn't coughing but her breathing sounded gurgley so I took her to the Dr. He diagnosed her with bronchitis, gave her a nebulizer treatment in the office and prescribed antibiotics. Today, after 4 days of antibiotics she wasn't sounding any better so we called to make another appointment for tomorrow. After paying close attention to her breathing, we called the dr back and told them that someone needed to see her tonight not tomorrow, so they fit her in. We went to the dr and were told that she is not sounding good. They sent us to the hospital for X-rays of her lungs and said someone will call us tomorrow. So, we are waiting to hear what is going on with Raquelle. In the mean time, she is perfectly happy, just a little more snuggly then normal.
In other news and accomplishments, Raquelle climbed over the baby gate today. I guess it's time to baby proof the kitchen.
I put on a little kid CD for her today, and she danced and sang and was very happy with the first 2 songs, then she seemed to ignore it and go back to playing. A little while later, she suddenly started crying for no apparent reason. I looked and she was just sitting there surrounded by her favorite toys crying. Then I realized it was the CD. It was on the song "the wheels on the bus..." and it was on the verse with the baby on the bus going waaa waaa waaa and on the CD there was a crying baby in the back ground. I turned off the CD and she was fine. So, what are we going to do when her little brother is born? You know he's going to cry! Anyway, that's all for now. I will update when we hear back from the dr.
