Crafty mom!

I liked the baby legs leggings that were given to Raquelle so much that I decided to make some for her! I couldn't justify spending $12 a pair on something that wasn't really a need that I could make for $1.00. We have a cold front moving in today, so I mad Raquelle 3 pairs over the weekend. They took about 30 min each since I don't have a sewing maching. They would take less then 5 min with a sewing machine. Anyway, here are some pics. This is not my favorite pair, I'm saving those for her to wear to MOPS tomorrow (if she is healthy by then...still coughing a lot with bronchitis).

Here is Raquelle working out in her leggings and onsie.

And here she is discovering the tamborine. At first, I thought she wanted to be a drummer when she grows up. Now I'm sure as she shows more and more interest in precussion instruments. Of course, in these smiliing pictures, she still has bronchitis, is still coughing and is running a fever. Can you tell?

Oh, since there is a cold front, she only wore this for the pictures to show off what I made. Once the pictures were taken, she got a pair of pants over her leggings. Posted by Picasa

Would you like a sewing machine? I have a Sewing Genie that is brand new, compact, with all sorts of accessories. I will never use it, so if you want it, it's yours!

I was sure her uncle Matt would be in percussion also but he ended up playing the baritone, so you never know! Her leggings are so cute! I hope she's feeling better.--Montana grandma

Asher has a cold too. But not bronchitis. Jason was sick with it, and now I am too. Asher doesn't have it too badly, which is good. I don't even know how to use a sewing machine, but I will learn sometime. Jason knows how (had to in the Navy - he had to fix his uniforms and sew on patches and stuff). I like how your floor looks like ours! Or ours looks like yours, whatever. Covered in toys! :)
