My smart little boy
I need a post just to brag about some of the things Titus is doing now. I am so shocked and impressed with him. His biggest development lately is in his language skills. If I remember right, most little kids I know start stringing 2 words together around 2 years old. Titus is 16 months and is already doing this! His 2 word combinations include: thank you, all done, all gone, sippy broke, I stuck, it stuck, sippy down, spoon down, cracker down...and he seems to be coming up with more every day. I am amazed at how well he communicates what he wants for his age!
We've started watching some letter videos every day to help Raquelle with her alphabet. Titus is picking up on his letters and their sounds just as fast as she is! He sees the A on TV and will tell you "AAAA". Today he was "reading" a book to Raquelle. It was a book of opposits. He got to the page with the bear on the slide and said "Up! Down!" And yes, it was the up down page in the book. My parents have always told me I was talking in sentances at 18 months. I thought that was likely a bit of an exageration (especially after how long it took Raquelle to talk in sentances!) Now I'm starting to believe them since Titus looks like he is on his way to being a very early talker!
PS - Does "no no" count as a 2 word combination? If so that's another one he says. :)
