Tantrums solved!

Raquelle has been following me everywhere I go whining and crying for 2 or 3 days now. She has also been throwing herself on the floor and crying and kicking her feet. I figured this was terrible 2's starting early. Of course, I checked to see if her diaper was dirty, was she hungry, etc...but still the crying continued. Then, yesterday I noticed something in the back of her mouth. I reached in to get the foreign object, and it was a molar! She has her first molar! I found that odd since she only has 6 of her 8 front teeth and none of her K9 teeth yet. So...a few teething tablets and she was a whole new toddler. Today, I pinned her down and did a sweep of her mouth and sure enough, she has 3 more molars that are just starting to come through also. These are her first new teeth since she was 9 months old! So, now she will be up to 10 teeth. I wonder when those other two front teeth will show up....Maybe for Christmas?

May her molars come in quickly--for both of your sakes! Her uncle Matt used to do 3-4 teeth at a time. It is not a pleasant memory. Take care of all of you! --Debbie

That is a hard time. At least you figured it out in a couple of days...that is good. Hopefully they will all get in quickly for you.

Oh I can relate. Alexander is punching through like three teeth on top right now. Poor little kiddo. He just acts like he's tired all the time, kind of fussy and whiny. Hopefully they will come through soon. This is the third day he's been fussy already. It's nice that several come at the same time though, gets it over with more quickly : )
