Current favorites
I thought it would be fun to post pictures of the kids with their current favorites.
Here is Raquelle with the Duplo blocks that Aunt Marjorie bought for her this week. She is also wearing the dress that she picked out at Walmart off the $4 rack. I liked the blue one better, but she just had to have the pink one. Daddy said yes, since it was only $4. With the blocks, technically they say for ages 2 to 5, but it only took her 2 days to figure out how to put them together and take them apart. And dumping the bucket and picking them back up is just as fun as building things. This one toy will entertain her for an ENTIRE morning (from wake up until lunch time).

Titus LOVES his taggie dog. He is finally starting to laugh and smile at toys, but this dog seems to be the heavy favorite. He lights up when he sees it, he tries to stick it's nose and paws in his mouth, and he snuggles it up against his chin. He played on this blanket with just the taggie dog for about 20 min today. Pretty good for a 3 month old!
Here is Raquelle playing with Titus and taggie. This was under close supervision and I wish I had a video. She was putting the dog over his face, and then picking it up and saying "there she is!". Titus wasn't very impressed. All he knew was that she had taken his toy away.

It's fun to see Raquelle try to play with Titus. on his play mat, she will sit next to him and jiggle the toys that hang over him. In the infant seat, she will swat at the toys, or try to climb in it with him. On the floor, she will shake rattles at him or play peek a boo with various toys. I can't wait for Titus to respond to her more and play back!
Also - Titus is 3 months old today!

Oh I see what you mean by taggie toys now. I never heard of them until you mentioned them to me. Cute! Alexander would love that. He loves those duplo blocks too (Raquelle is smart if she can put them together already!). Well all he does is suck on them though, and throw them. I'm sure it will be a while until he can actually put them together- haha. We bought them so I could make him towers and he could knock them over. Babies love that. But I am going to get wood blocks. They make way more noise when they fall over, which boys seem to like!
