What to eat?

It's no secret that there are a lot of food allergies in my family.  We get by by only avoiding the worst offenders and not all of them.  If the whole family was to avoid everything that we are all allergic to, I would not be able to use wheat, egg, dairy, blueberries, sesame, garlic, nuts...and a LOT of other things I can't remember.  Recently, I had been having regular bad head aches and stomach aches.  Around that same time, Thad did a job at a commercial chicken farm...it was absolutely the most disgusting thing ever!  He suggested that maybe if we take chicken out of the diet, my stomach would be better...surprise!  It worked!  The theory is that the antibiotics fed to the chicken may have been killing the good bacteria that is suppose to be in my digestive track.  So...no more chicken now too.  For the headaches, I came off of caffeine 2 weeks ago, and for 8 days now have eaten NOTHING that I am allergic too.  Amazingly...the headaches are gone too!  But now I don't know what to eat.

No more poultry because of antibiotics.  No Beef because corn fed cows are full of e-coli, then treated with amonia to kill the bacteria when they are slaughtered.  I'm just not ok with eating that.  Grass fed beef?  $6 a lb here!  The plan is to buy 1/4 of a cow from a grass fed farm.  We even found 2 different farmers who raise such cows, but we were too late to claim the October cow and the next slaughter is January.  No wheat, eggs, milk or nuts (my allergies).  So what does that leave me to eat?  Um...I'm still working on that.  Today I had oatmeal for breakfast, Millet with butter on it for lunch, and apple oatmeal bars for snacks.

We have been using a lot of soy protein powder to get protein in without eating the gross meats.  Well, I read online that genetically modified soy, when fed to nursing lab rats, killed 90% of the baby rats!  So protein powder is out for me too.  That just doesn't sound like something I want to put into my body.

I am basically left with a couple flavors of cereal, fruits, vegetables, and rice.  Homemade vegetarian chili was nice!  Potato soup was good too.  We have tons of fresh and canned fruits and veggies.  The only problem is that now I am averaging about 30 grams of protein a day and my goal had been 100!  So...that is my current dilemma.  What do you feed a family who is allergic to everything, and also doesn't want to eat the commercial meat?
