Let it Snow!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Everywhere I go... :)

After watching the snow out the window most of the day, this evening there was finally enough to play in. So, after about 10 or 15 min of putting 2 pairs of socks on the kids, leggings, pants, sweatshirts, coats, hats, and finding shoes that would go over an extra pair of socks, we finally headed outside to play.
Playing didn't last very long. As soon as Raquelle touched the snow, she started crying that her hands were cold. So, all that bundling up for about 2 min of "playing" in the snow. We are going to find her some gloves and try again tomorrow afternoon.
The weather report says that we can expect 4 inches by morning (though I think we may already have that much). It is suppose to stay cold and not melt all week and we are suppose to get more snow on Wed, Thu, and Friday. Then it will warm up to about 40 for the weekend and snow Monday and Tuesday again. I think that makes this the biggest "snow storm" since I've lived in Salem! We got a lot our first year married, so I guess we will have to wait and see if we get more this year.
