lack of posts...

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. There has been a lot going on and aside from being short on time, my camera cord is still missing. If you were Raquelle, where would you put it? Anyway...Since finding out our house is for sale, I have decided to start a home day care. I'm in process of taking all the required classes. I've had them all before, but most of them need renewed every 3 years or so, so they are all expired. In the mean time, I can legally babysit for 3 kids without being registered. I interviewed with one family on the weekend and will find out if I get their kids tomorrow. I plan on just babysitting for one family until we move, whether that be next month or in 8 months...then once we move, I will have had all the classes and will just need the home inspection to be registered and I will be able to take more kids then. I'm looking forward to being a 2 income family again and am praying that God will bless my efforts in this.

The only other thing going on is that we are all sick (except Raquelle). Titus has been throwing up since Saturday and has lost 2 lbs in the last 3 days so far. Thad actually called in sick to work on Monday. For those of you who don't know us as well, I think this is the 3rd time he has called in sick in the 5 yrs we have been married. I have it too. I'm not throwing up, but I am sick to my stomach and have been running a fever since yesterday. We are getting absolutely no sleep right now because we are either changing bedding, giving baths to scrub vomit out of Ty's hair, or changing the blow out diaper every 30 min for the first half of the night and then every 1 to 2 hours the 2nd half. If you don't have kids, just try to picture how tired you are when you are sick, then throw in not getting more then 2 hours of sleep in a row for 4 days, and cleaning up someone else's stinky puke. Yah...it's not fun. So far, Ty has been so kind as to only throw up in the evenings when Thad is home. That's nice because then I can give the bath and clean up the baby and Thad can clean up the bedding. Anyway, if you want to pray for us, you can pray for our health (and sanity) and for God to provide a couple kids for me to babysit for this summer.

That stuff is going around! It went around here too, though not all of us at once! Asher was constantly throwing up and I had to sleep with him through the night to clean up puke (he dry heaved mostly, though.) He was still sick the next morning, but then started getting better. Jason only felt sick one night, but didn't get sick. Then I got sick. That caused the baby to drop (luckily not into position) and I had a lot of tightening in my stomach and had to go get checked. They gave me an ambien to help me sleep and stop any false labor. That worked. That and I was really dehydrated. Once I drank a ton of water I felt much better. It's no fun! I hope you all get better!
