The Details

Ok, now that I have everyone's attention, I assume you have some questions. The first one being when this child is due. November 3rd would be the date. If you are good at math, you know that puts me almost 2 months along. We were going to wait longer to tell, but my belly has grown about 4 inches in the last 3 weeks. I would rather people know I'm pregnant then think I am getting fat.

The next question would be about a car. No, we do not have to buy a new car. It is on the list, as our car is over a decade old, but this baby will fit in the car we have. We will need to replace all the car seats though in order to fit 3 across the back seat.

The other question is where we will live. We plan to stay where we are to start with.

Job - Thad's name is now on the list of qualified applicants with the Department of corrections, waiting for an opening at one of the 5 prisons here. He is also applying with the sheriffs department and with the State police. The hiring process for law enforcement officers is a very long process. We could see him get a position in corrections in the next month or two, but it will most likely take 6 to 12 months before he would qualify for sheriff or state police.

Was this planned? Of course! God plans all babies! Thad has said since before we got married that he wants 6 kids. I told him I don't want to be having kids still when I am old. We need to keep them coming to get them all out while we are still young and energetic. I think 18 months is the perfect age difference. That being said, we were planning another one this time next year. No form of birth control is 100% and God decided to bless us with another baby a little sooner then planned. We are very happy and excited to welcome another little blessing into our family.

Anyway, I think I have covered the basics. Yes I know I will have my hands full. Better full then empty!

Oh, and the last question...no we do not know if it is a boy or a girl. No we will not be finding out until the baby is born. Yes, we have decided on names, but we will not be telling until the baby is born. So, you can save those questions until November.

You are so funny. I guess you answered all the questions except one. Besides all new car seats is there anything you need for this new little one or for yourself? Just remember that God has blessed you with the care of a little one that has eternal value. You can have all kinds of other stuff but this is the only thing in His eyes that has eternal value. Love ya Mom

Once it's born, we will need some pretty little boy or girl clothes. I kept the neutrals and gave away most of the rest. And I need pants. And Doritos. ;)

Do you mind having the doctor call me and let me know if it's a boy or a girl? That way you don't find out. But I'll still know. :o)

I wasn't planning to do a registry since this is baby #3. We already have another crib in the garage, I figured we would borrow the baby stuff back from Bill and Krista. That just leaves 2 Sunshine kids Radian65 car seats, 1 Cosco Scenera car seat, small and medium cloth diapers (Fuzzi Bunz, and Kissaluvs fitteds), and once the baby is born, a few gender specific outfits. This baby is a different season, so if it is a boy, it will still need all new boy clothes. If it is a girl, I plan to borrow clothes from Bill and Krista again.
