First steps and 2nd tooth!

The constant updates you have been getting are mostly because I have not unpacked Raquelle's baby book yet since we moved. I have no clue what box it is in, so I am keeping track on my blog to later go back and update her book. So, today, her 2nd tooth finally popped through! Or at least partially popped through. I'm sure she will continue with the teething fuss for a couple more days before she calms down.

She also took her first steps today (along furniture that is). We had been playing on the exercise ball. She was sitting on my lap on the floor and reaching for the big ball. So I held it still for her. She grabbed on to it and pulled herself up to a stand. Then she reached over and grabbed onto the couch and took a step to stable herself. Then she took 2 steps sideways alongside the couch, looked at me and smiled and then fell down. I was right there so I caught her. I'm so proud of her! With the new baby on the way I need her to be a good walker by the time she is 13 months. I've heard of babies walking independently as early as 7 months. She will aslo hold onto my hands and walk all over the place. A new fun game of hers is to hold both my hands and walk accross the room to daddy who throws her up in the air and says "YEAH" when she gets there.
