Update on the last few weeks

You always know you must be doing something right when the trials start coming! Here is what's been going on with us for the last 3 weeks. A week after we moved, our car window was smashed with a base ball bat. We got it fixed and it was 3 days before we realized that my business bag with my little purse in it was stolen out of the car. By that time, the theif had already maxed out 2 credit cards. They got 2 credit cards, 2 debit cards, 1 check book, keys to our home, mail box and car, drivers liscense, and several other things that are just inconvenient to be without. So, we spent our 2nd week here closing accounts, cancelling cards, talking to police and fraud departments, changing locks, etc. Then, Thad's work sent his pay check to our old address and our old appartment cheated us out of our deposit. They blamed us for a whole in the carpet that was there when we moved in, however we have no way to prove that it was there when we moved in. I think that takes us through the first two weeks here. Of course, with all the happenings, we still have tons of boxes everywhere because I had other priorities then unpacking. After the first week and a half here, Thad wrote James 1:2-3 on our bathroom mirror. Looking back, the attitude and mindset has stayed pretty positive through it all. When we found our car with glass everwhere around it and inside it, we looked at each other and said "We must be doing something right! We are worthy of a trial!" So, now you are all up to date on the 3 weeks we were off line.

Of course, Raquelle picked moving day to really become mobile. She is scooting and rolling all over the place. She can get up on her hands and knees and is rocking back and forth but has not officially moved from scooting to crawling.

Man! Trials do seem to go around. Jason was supposed to have a better job, but they just went under, so Jason is now unemployed, our rent check bounced and we haven't been able to pay our debtors for 3 or 4 months. I haven't thought of that verse, so that is something I'll have to write down too. Thanks! I pray that things work out and get better for you all!
