Bittersweet
Today was very bittersweet. Raquelle has been eating like crazy, so out of curiosity, I measured her. She has grown 2 inches in the last 2 weeks! No wonder her clothes seem like they no longer fit overnight! So, I mourned the loss of all her cute 3 to 6 month clothes as I boxed them up for the next kid. She still has a couple things that will fit, but not much. The sad part is, there really wasn't much to unpack in 6 to 9 month size and what she does have in that size is mostly fall winter clothes! I picked up a pair of shorts at the store so she can at least wear shorts and a onsie until I get this poor child some clothes.
The other bittersweet thing is our garden. We have 9 tomatos growing on our tomato plants and I picked enough fresh beans to eat with dinner tonight. The sad part is, we are moving away from this lush garden in 3 days and I doubt any of it would survive being transplanted since it's suppose to be 107 on Saturday when we move. Our neighbors are already plotting and planning raiding our garden as soon as we are gone so at least it won't go to waste.
